Born for a charitable purpose from an idea by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure, it was the longest concert in recent history, lasting 16 hours, broadcast in 150 countries, but above all one of the few events that brought together the great artists of music world, side by side on the stage of the Wembley Stadium in London and the Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia sang the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, U2, Madonna, Bob Dylan, Phil Collins and, finally, Queen who made this extraordinary meeting unforgettable musical.
July 13, 1985 was a unique day in the history of music and contemporary culture, on that day, in fact, there will be an event that went down in history and after 35 years it represents one of the most significant moments for music and the whole society. We are talking about Live Aid, the largest parade of artists that has ever taken the stage in recent history. An unrepeatable charity event, which brought together the most varied musical tastes, which sealed the love for music and solidarity through a single great concert also broadcast on TV and seen by millions of people.
